Construction of the winning park is complete!

1 August 2017

After winning the My Park Rules competition in 2016, Marrickville Public School now has a new play area for their students. The space has been transformed from a hot, bitumen courtyard into a bustling green space. The plants and trees are young but are expected to be established by the official opening ceremony. In the meantime, the children are enjoying their new green space.

The initiative could not have gone ahead with the support of (in alphabetical order); Andreasens Green, Austral Bricks, Austral Masonry, Australian Council of State Schools Organisations, Benedict Industries, Fleetwood Urban, Flemings Nurseries, Gosford Quarries, Greenline, Hills Bark Blower, Inner West Council, Landscape Solutions, Murdoch Childrens Research Institute, NSW Department of Education, Sam the Paving Man, SESL, Soilbond, Street Furniture Australia, Sydney Airport, Tract Consultants and the growers of plants and trees from the Australian Nursery industry.

We are looking forward to the official opening ceremony of the park in October 2017.
