Our dream outdoor space:

About the space:

This space is between two study areas in an alternative setting. It has one tree and not a very inviting place for work or play.

Approximate size

18m x 18m

Why our nominated space should be chosen to be re-designed and developed:

Alice Outcomes is an alternative setting where young people have an opportunity to re-engage in education in Year 10, 11 and 12. Currently it is not appealing at all due to lack of shade and the bland appearance of concrete and tin fences

How our organisation would benefit from and use the re-designed and developed space

The students would benefit as this would provide and informal and relaxed space for both work and play. In Alice Springs shade is a priority especially in the months of October to March where temperatures often exceed 40 degrees.
